Abasam ONYIA

Managing Director

He began his professional career as a Financial Analyst at Linterale Gas Limited, A downstream oil and gas company focused on LPG distribution. Thereafter, he moved over to the banking sector with Wema Bankas An analyst at the Corporate Strategy and Planning Unit of the Bank for a year and was in charge of branch development for that year. He subsequently joined KPMG Advisory Services in Lagos, as a tax consultantand worked on some of the biggest tax advisory and compliance issues in Nigeria. He was a Partner at Kainetix Limited and was part of a team that brought in the largest private security firm in the world to Nigeria. He also worked with the Alliance Global Limited a subsidiary of Global Energy Limited as a business development manager on alternative investments in agriculture and security as well as with the principal company (GEC) as business development analyst on their oil and gas blocks project.

An Alumnus of Bachelors of Arts in Economics with a minor in Business Finance from Knox College. He possesses several professional qualifications which includes: the Harvard Mentor Program certified, KPMG tax trainings, Wema Banking School, Advanced Negotiation

Abasam is the Managing Director of Recherche Events & Gifts Limited and oversees the operation of the company.
